I don't like most vegetables boiled or stir fried, they tend to be better straight out fried.

Personally, I love the smell of roasting meat. I just don't see the need to eat it every day, let alone at every MEAL! Yoiks, Gfted1! You must get really constipated! Shocked

Shocked

Gah, that would suck. Ive never heard that a high meat diet would give you constipation but if so, not for me. I poo 2-3 times a day. Too much information, lol?

LOL! Brits don't have a problem with poo information. Wink We enjoy a rather... er... basic humour. Wink

Uck.

Lightly boiled, crispy veg are nice. Better than raw, mainly, though carrots are better raw, as are salad veg; and peas are best frozen, eaten straight from the freezer...

I like my veggies raw, steamed or stir-fried

And I'm an omnivore. I love animal flesh, though.

off topic: I've actually been drafted to 'cater' my fisrt pig roast. Awfully excited

 Mmmmm, pig roast. I would shank someone in the windpipe for that crispy, greasy skin.

You putting it in the ground or renting a huge grill?

I've got a smoker that i'd like to do it on...about 750 or so square inches, so it'll either be a small pig or we'll have to rig something up. I don't know how many people will be there just yet

I don't think it is in some way natural to eat either meat or vegetables. Humans are able to eat both, so this is natural to me, however there is also meat and vegetable you can't eat because of different reasons.
It is also proven, that we have to eat both, because eating only meat or only vegetables is not healthy. Certain kind of risks are a lot higher, for example cancer, cardiac problems etc.

I think its best to eat both. And you should sometimes eat things you maybe don't really like that much. Food that does not taste good - that's a psychological thing. We don't like certain meals because of the way they are cooked or because we had a bad experience as a child - either we were told not to eat or it tasted that awfull, or we were forced to eat it...
